What is Community Supported Agriculture (CSA)?

Members or "share-holders" of the farm buy shares in the farm at the beginning of the season to help cover the anticipated costs of the farm operation. In return, you receive shares in the farm's bounty throughout the growing season, as well as the satisfaction gained from knowing where your food is coming from and building a relationship with the farmers who grow it.

Welcome to Monday Farmers Market CSA |
The 2011 market season is off to a great start!
The 2011 market and C.S.A. season is off to a great start this year. Even though we had a rough start with the weather and very hot and dry summer, the veggies are coming on fast. If you have any questions on how to use your different veggies and herbs, I have found that if you put that veggie into google you will find anything you could ever ask for. Martha Stewert or Hobby Farm are two good places to start. If you are getting more than you can use in a week ask about how to freeze or can things for this winter. It's always nice to have good fresh foods in the winter.
July 11th, is our first CSA pick-up and market of the 2011 season. Come and enjoy our home grown fruits and veggies and yummy baked goods!
